Clock Factory
Multi-floor nightclub in a converted industrial space with varied music rooms and late-night dancing.
industriallivelycasualnight club
You'll find this sprawling nightclub spread across two floors of what used to be proper industrial space on Union Street. The conversion works brilliantly – exposed brick and high ceilings give the place proper character while multiple rooms mean you can actually escape if the DJ's having an off night. Upstairs tends to skew more commercial while downstairs gets grittier with garage and bassline nights.
The crowd's a proper mix – students mixing with twenty and thirty-somethings who remember when this area was still rough around the edges. It's not trying to be sophisticated, which is exactly why it works. When you want to dance until stupid o'clock without pretension, this delivers.
