You'll walk past this Redland spot twice before realising you've found it – the understated frontage gives nothing away about what's inside. Push through the door and you're immediately struck by how thoughtfully everything's been put together, from the carefully chosen furniture to the way the light hits the bar. The drinks menu shows real care, with cocktails that actually taste different from each other and a wine list that suggests someone's spent proper time sourcing bottles you won't find everywhere else. It's the kind of place where you pop in for one drink and somehow end up closing the place down, mainly because the atmosphere hits that sweet spot between relaxed and engaging. The sort of neighbourhood bar every area should have but rarely gets.
