You know what you're getting with Las Iguanas, and sometimes that's exactly what you want. Tucked down Mill Lane in the city centre, this reliably good Latin American spot delivers the goods when you're after decent nachos, a proper caipirinha, and somewhere that won't let you down for a casual dinner or drinks with mates. The cocktails are where they really shine – their mojitos and margaritas are consistently well-made, and at £8-10 a pop, they're not taking the piss either. The food won't blow your mind but it's far better than it needs to be for a chain: the Brazilian chicken is properly seasoned, the burritos are generously stuffed, and they do a cracking weekend brunch. Plus, being open until half ten most nights makes it a solid backup when everywhere else is rammed.
