You know the drill with Starbucks, but this Broadgate branch sits pretty much dead centre of the city's shopping heartland, making it genuinely useful when you're trudging between Primark and the Cathedral Lanes. The staff here seem to have cracked the art of not burning the milk, which puts them ahead of half the other coffee chains in Coventry. Yes, you're paying £4.50 for a large latte that costs pennies to make, but the seating upstairs is decent for laptop warriors, and they've got those proper comfy armchairs by the windows. It's reliably open when everything else is shut on Sundays, and the loo is always clean. Sometimes predictable is exactly what you need.
