Nancy Hands Bar & Restaurant
Victorian railway memorabilia pub serving proper gastropub fare where tourists and Stoneybatter locals drink surprisingly well together.

You'll spot the vintage railway carriages from Parkgate Street – Nancy Hands has committed fully to its Victorian train station theme, complete with old luggage racks and station clocks. The tourist coaches might put you off initially, but push past the Phoenix Park day-trippers nursing single pints and you'll find locals who've been coming here for years.
The food runs circles around typical pub grub – their fish and chips actually deserve the queue, and they do a proper Sunday roast that'll sort you right out after a morning in the park. The pints are well-kept, the staff know their regulars by name, and despite the gimmicky décor, there's something genuinely welcoming about the whole operation. It's touristy without being cynical about it.
