The drive-thru is genuinely handy when you can't be bothered getting out the car, especially during Hull's famously grim winter mornings. Yes, it's in a retail park and yes, it's a chain, but sometimes you just want a reliable flat white and a toastie without any fuss. The staff here seem to actually give a toss, which isn't always a given at chain coffee shops. It's not trying to be the coolest spot in the Old Town, but when you need caffeine and everything else is shut, you'll be grateful it exists.
