Hangar 34
Thursday-to-Sunday superclub in a converted warehouse space that's been Liverpool's go-to for proper electronic nights since the early 2000s.

You know you're in for a proper night when you're queuing outside a converted warehouse on Greenland Street at 2am on a Saturday. The concrete floors and industrial ceiling tell you everything about Hangar 34's no-nonsense approach to clubbing – this isn't about fancy cocktails or Instagram moments, it's about losing yourself to house and techno until your ears ring for days.
The sound system hits different here, probably because they've had decades to get it right. You'll find a mixed crowd of seasoned ravers and wide-eyed students, all united by the fact that they're still standing at 6am. The main room gets properly packed, but there's usually space to breathe if you need it. Fair warning: once you're in, you're committed to the long haul.
