The Canadian obsession is real here – proper thick-cut bacon, pancakes that could double as mattresses, and enough maple syrup to drown a small child. The weekend queue snakes down Hope Street for good reason. The coffee's strong enough to wake the dead, which you'll need after tackling their monster breakfast portions. Staff bounce around with genuine enthusiasm, probably sugar-high from all the maple products. It's unapologetically North American in a city that does breakfast well, but this lot do it differently.
