You know that spot where you can roll in for a late breakfast beer on Saturday morning and somehow end up staying until closing? That's exactly what happens here on Albert Square. The space feels properly lived-in rather than trying too hard – think exposed brick, decent lighting, and tables you actually want to sit at for more than an hour. The menu does that eclectic comfort food thing without being annoying about it. Their small plates work well for sharing over drinks, and the kitchen stays open late enough that you're not scrambling for food after a proper session. The cocktails are competent, the beer selection makes sense, and the staff seem to actually want to be there.
