Inside, it's all about the 'gram, with flower walls and botanical touches that have clearly been designed with social media in mind. The coffee is solid enough, and they do a reasonable line in light bites and cakes that photograph beautifully. The location puts you right in the thick of Newcastle's shopping district, which means it gets properly busy during lunch hours. While the flowers are undeniably pretty, you sometimes get the feeling that the actual food experience plays second fiddle to the visual spectacle. That said, if you're after somewhere photogenic for a catch-up with friends and don't mind paying a bit extra for the ambiance, it does the job well enough.
