You know what you're getting with this Princess Street spot - it's part of a chain, but that doesn't mean it's rubbish. The cocktails are properly made (their mojitos are particularly decent), and the food menu covers all the bases without any nasty surprises. The interior is bright and modern, with plenty of seating that works whether you're catching up with mates over weekend brunch or settling in for post-work drinks. What makes this one work is the location and the atmosphere. Right in the city centre, it gets busy but never feels chaotic. The staff actually know what they're doing behind the bar, and the weekend opening from 11am makes it handy for those leisurely Saturday sessions. Yes, it's a chain, but sometimes you want somewhere reliable that won't let you down.
