The Boater, Bath

You're walking along Argyle Street in Bathwick when the smell of good cooking pulls you in. The Boater sits right by the Avon, and on a decent day the terrace is where you want to be—pint in hand, watching the river do its thing. Inside it's properly done out without trying too hard: wood, stone, the sort of pub that feels like it knows what it's doing.
