You'll find yourself down a narrow passage off Green Street, squeezing into rooms that feel like they've been unchanged since the 1970s—and we mean that as a compliment. The Old Green Tree is the kind of place where regulars have their spots, the landlord knows what you drink, and nobody's bothered about Instagram angles. It's cramped, characterful, and completely unpretentious, with real ales that rotate regularly and a drinks menu that takes itself seriously without being precious about it.
