You know what you're getting when you walk into this New Street spot, and sometimes that's exactly what you want. Tucked into The Charters building right in the heart of town, it's the kind of place that saves the day when you're shopping with the kids or need somewhere safe to take visiting relatives who think adventure means asking for extra parmesan. The pizza bases are decent, the pasta portions generous, and the tiramisu actually tastes like tiramisu rather than sugary mush. Sure, it's not going to change your life, but when you're caught between Primark and John Lewis with hungry teenagers in tow, you'll be grateful it exists. The staff are genuinely lovely and the location couldn't be more central if it tried.
