Cosy Club

Art deco glamour meets proper British comfort food in a converted 1920s bank on Bennetts Hill. All-day dining, cocktails, and actual character.

You walk into Cosy Club and immediately feel like you've stepped into someone's incredibly stylish front room—if that front room happened to be a Grade II listed 1920s bank building. The high ceilings, the period details, the worn leather and mismatched furniture all work together without feeling contrived. It's the kind of place where you could legitimately spend four hours nursing coffee and a pastry, or roll up at 11pm for cocktails and small plates. The menu leans British-comfort: fish and chips done properly, steak and ale pie, the sort of stuff that tastes better when you're surrounded by vintage tiles and Art Deco flourishes. It gets properly buzzy in the evenings, but there's something reassuringly unpretentious about it all.
