The Distillery

Head down Sheepcote Street and you'll find yourself in one of those pubs that actually feels like it belongs to the people drinking in it—none of that try-hard stuff. The Distillery's got the kind of bar setup that makes you want to linger over a drink, with knowledgeable staff who can actually make a cocktail properly rather than just pouring things into a glass. It's close enough to the Jewellery Quarter that you'll catch the after-work crowd, but it's got enough character to pull people from across the city. The vibe swings nicely between relaxed weeknight drinking and properly buzzy at weekends.
