The dining room feels lived-in rather than polished, with families sharing massive platters of fresh naan and steaming bowls of dal that taste like someone's mum has been stirring them all day. The karahi dishes arrive still bubbling in their cast iron pans, and the lamb is tender enough to cut with a fork. Portions are generous without being showy, and at under £15 for most mains, it's the sort of place where you can bring the whole family without breaking the bank. The service moves at its own pace, but when the food arrives this good, you won't mind waiting.
