You'd walk past this stretch of North Road a hundred times without noticing much, but Bill's manages to feel like the neighbourhood spot it probably wishes it was born as rather than the chain it actually is. The interiors lean heavily into that curated vintage look - mismatched chairs, potted plants everywhere, and enough quirky bits and bobs to keep you scanning the walls between courses. The menu does what it says on the tin: reliable all-day dining that won't shock anyone but rarely disappoints either. Their pancakes are genuinely good (stack them high with bacon), the burgers are decent, and they've nailed that sweet spot of being somewhere your mum would enjoy lunch but where you won't feel tragic meeting mates for weekend brunch.
