This isn't your typical soulless chain hotel restaurant – the kitchen turns out proper international dishes that'll sort you right out whether you're catching an early train to London or need feeding after a long journey down. The location on Queens Road means you're perfectly placed for everything, and while it's obviously geared towards hotel guests and travellers, locals have cottoned on that the food's genuinely good. They do a decent breakfast that'll set you up properly, plus evening meals that go well beyond the usual dire hotel fare. It's clean, efficient, and the staff actually seem to give a toss about what they're doing.
