Revolution Brighton

You know what you're getting with Revolution, and sometimes that's exactly what you want. Right in the thick of West Street's weekend chaos, this outpost of the national chain does cocktails with more care than you'd expect - their espresso martinis are properly made, and the frozen cocktails actually taste like something other than sugary slush. The space is all exposed brick and industrial lighting, which works better here than it has any right to. What really sets it apart though is the hours - when everywhere else is shutting up shop at 1am, Revolution keeps the party going until 3am most nights, 4am on Saturdays. The food's decent enough pub grub, but you're really here for the drinks and the fact that it's one of the few places in the city centre where you can still get a proper cocktail after midnight.
