You head down to Southville and push through the door of El Rincón, and suddenly you're somewhere that feels genuinely transported. The stripped-back Spanish vibe isn't performed—it's just how they do things here. The bar staff know their drinks, the food is the kind of stuff you'd actually eat in Spain (not some Instagram-baiting interpretation), and there's a real neighbourhood warmth to the place. North Street's had its share of comeandgoers, but El Rincón feels properly settled in, the kind of spot locals keep returning to because it's honest and doesn't overcomplicate itself.
