No.1 Harbourside
Waterfront dining with proper food and a view that actually justifies the postcode. Go for the seafood, stay for the people-watching.
🍴 Modern British, Seafoodrelaxedlivelysophisticatedcasualrestaurant
You're stood on Canon's Road with the harbour stretching out in front of you—that's the setup at No.1. It's the kind of place that feels effortlessly Bristol: casual enough that you'd pop in for a weeknight dinner, but polished enough that you won't feel underdressed when you inevitably bump into someone from work. The menu leans on seafood and seasonal British ingredients, done without any of that try-hard nonsense. Service is genuinely friendly rather than formally stiff, and the wine list actually has some thought behind it. On a decent evening, grab a table outside and you've got one of the better views in the city centre without paying some ridiculous fine-dining markup.
