St Werburghs City Farm Cafe
Farm-to-table cafe serving proper homemade food alongside goats, pigs and chickens in St Werburghs' working city farm.

You'll hear the chickens before you see the cafe, tucked into Bristol's most charming working farm where kids chase guinea fowl while their parents queue for arguably the city's best bacon sandwich. The menu changes with whatever's growing in the polytunnels outside, but expect proper comfort food - think hearty soups, doorstop sandwiches and cakes that disappear by 2pm.
It's brilliantly chaotic: toddlers pressed against pig pens, volunteers covered in mud grabbing coffee between feeds, and regulars who've been coming since the 80s. The food is unfussy but excellent - ingredients this fresh don't need much faffing about. Whether you're after a full breakfast or just decent coffee while the kids burn energy with the animals, this feels like the countryside dropped into inner-city Bristol.
