Sure, it's a Wetherspoons, so you know exactly what you're getting – decent ales at prices that won't bankrupt you, plus the usual suspects on the food menu. But there's something rather brilliant about having your morning coffee in such grand surroundings, just a stone's throw from the castle. The staff crack on efficiently despite the constant stream of office workers, students, and the occasional stag do that rolls through these doors.
