You walk into Rio on Newgate Street expecting a standard steakhouse, then the rhythm changes entirely. Waiters glide past with skewers of picanha, lamb, and chicken, slicing directly onto your plate in that brilliant Brazilian way. There's samba energy here without feeling forced—it's lively without being obnoxious, which is harder to pull off than you'd think. The salad bar is decent (beetroot, hearts of palm, the usual), but you're here for the meat carousel. Prices sit firmly in the mid-range for what's actually an event rather than just dinner.
