Bean, Sandwich & Patisserie

You'll find Bean tucked into Central Buildings on Warwick Road, and it's the sort of place that gets rammed at lunchtime for good reason. The coffee's clearly taken seriously here (no burnt espresso nonsense), and they're making sandwiches fresh rather than rehashing yesterday's stock. The pastry selection is proper too—French-trained bakers clearly have a hand in things. It's small, unpretentious, and does exactly what it says on the tin: excellent coffee, excellent food, no faffing about.
