Rana's has built a serious reputation for North Indian cooking that doesn't muck about—their tandoori arrives properly charred and smoky, their gravies have actual depth, and they're not afraid of spice levels that mean something. The room itself is unpretentious, the sort of place where families, couples, and groups of mates all pile in on a Friday night and everyone's clearly been before. Service is proper attentive without being fussy. At these prices, the quality of ingredients and technique feels almost unfair.
