Apache Pizza Bachelor's Walk

You're stumbling down Bachelor's Walk at half two in the morning, and there it is – that familiar orange glow promising salvation in slice form. This Apache outpost has become the unofficial headquarters for late-night munchies on the north side, staying open until 4am most nights when everywhere else has long shut their doors. The pizza itself is grand – not going to win any awards, but the bases are decent enough and they're generous with the cheese. It's exactly what you want when you're three pints deep and need something substantial. The location right on the quays makes it perfect for catching people spilling out of Temple Bar or heading home from town. Service can be a bit hit-and-miss during peak weekend hours, but that's the price you pay for being one of the few places actually feeding Dublin when it needs it most.
