Camile Thai Phibsborough
Modern Thai chain doing proper spice levels and fresh ingredients without the usual Dublin markup on Asian food.

You're walking down Phibsborough Road and suddenly catch a whiff of proper lemongrass and chilli that stops you in your tracks. Inside, it's clean and bright - none of that over-the-top décor nonsense, just decent tables and the sound of woks working overtime in the back.
The green curry here actually has heat, which is saying something in a city where 'spicy' often means a whisper of black pepper. Their pad thai strikes that proper balance between sweet and sour, and the portions are generous enough that you'll have lunch sorted tomorrow. Yes, it's a chain, but they've managed to keep things fresh and avoid that reheated taste you get elsewhere. At around €12-15 for mains, it's fair value for food that doesn't mess about.
