Planted right on Westmoreland Street, it's doing the whole American diner thing with red leather booths, neon signs, and a menu that reads like a love letter to comfort food. The burgers are properly messy affairs – none of that gourmet nonsense with rocket and sun-dried tomatoes. Just beef, cheese, and all the fixings on a bun that won't disintegrate in your hands. Their chicken wings come with enough sauce options to keep you arguing with your mates about which is best, and the milkshakes are thick enough to stand a spoon in. It's not going to change your life, but sometimes you just want a decent feed without having to explain what molecular gastronomy is to your da.
