The Bankers Bar

A proper Dublin pub where bankers and locals collide over excellent pints and proper food, right by Trinity.

You're on Trinity Street, just off Dame Street, walking into wood-panelled walls and the kind of bar that's been pouring pints since people actually wore three-piece suits to the office. The Bankers Bar has that lived-in Dublin feel — all exposed brick, warm lighting, and the sort of crowd that ranges from suits grabbing an after-work drink to tourists who've somehow found their way past the Temple Bar throngs. It's genuinely busy without feeling contrived, the sort of place where you can have a proper conversation at the bar or tuck into a booth with mates and proper pub food that doesn't pretend to be something it's not.
