Head down New Row and you'll find yourself in one of Dunfermline's better-kept corners—the kind of spot locals actually return to regularly rather than just talk about. Dhoom does that thing really well: it takes classical Indian dishes seriously without getting precious about it. The kitchen knows what it's doing with spice layering and timing, and you can taste the difference between this and places that just sling out kormas. It's relaxed enough that you won't feel out of place in jeans, but the food arrives thoughtfully plated and actually tastes like someone cared.
