You'll find yourself on Bristo Place, just off the Meadows, where Library Bar punches well above what you'd expect from a student union venue. It's got that slightly chaotic energy of a place that's genuinely popular—sticky floors optional, excellent cocktails mandatory. The bartenders actually know what they're doing, the crowd's a decent mix of students and locals who've discovered it's cheaper and more fun than the Southside tourist traps, and there's always something happening, whether that's a decent soundtrack or people actually enjoying themselves rather than performing for Instagram.
