You'll find queues snaking out onto Morningside Road most evenings, and honestly, they're deserved. S Luca's been scooping the same way for over a century, and you can taste the difference—their gelato is dense and flavourful in a way that supermarket ice cream could never compete with. The shop itself feels frozen in time (in the best way), all vintage tiles and character, with families cycling past on their way home stopping in for a cone. The pistachio is their signature move, but the nocciola and stracciatella are equally moreish. Expect to queue, expect it to be worth it.
