The Waverley pulls you in with honest wood panelling, a bar that's seen decades of elbows resting on it, and the kind of atmosphere where you can actually hear yourself think—or have a proper conversation without shouting. The whisky selection is genuinely impressive without being pretentious; staff know their stuff and won't patronise you whether you're ordering a Dalmore or asking what's smooth.
