Dishoom Glasgow

Bombay-style cooking that feels like stepping into a 1920s Indian railway station. Proper brilliant.

You're walking into Nelson Mandela Place and suddenly you're transported to Bombay in the 1920s—all dark wood, vintage railway posters, and that warm glow that makes everyone look impossibly photogenic. Dishoom isn't doing fancy fine dining; it's doing the stuff you'd actually eat in India, cooked properly. The breakfast menu is genuinely worth a morning trip, but come evening and you'll find yourself in a properly lively room, watching people tuck into bacon naans and half-charred tandoori chicken like they've discovered something secret. The cocktails are excellent too—they know what they're doing behind that bar.
