You're walking down Ruthven Lane in the West End, past the usual suspects, and you spot Kochchi. It's unassuming from the outside, but inside it's warm and buzzing—the kind of place where the kitchen actually knows what it's doing with Kerala spices. The menu reads like someone's travelled properly through South India and decided to cook exactly what they found there, not what they reckon Glasgow wants. Service is genuine, portions are honest, and the prices don't take the piss.
