You're walking into one of those hotel restaurants that doesn't feel like a hotel restaurant—which is rare enough to mention. OUIBar + KTCHN sits on Finnieston Quay with the Clyde flowing past, and they've clearly bothered to put thought into both the food and the room itself. It's the sort of place where locals actually turn up (not just tourists killing time before their flight), which says something. The kitchen takes French bistro as a starting point but doesn't get precious about it, and the bar side of things works whether you're proper eating or just stopping by for a drink and some decent snacks.
