Trinco Bay

Rayners Lane's got a solid food scene if you know where to look, and Trinco Bay sits right in the middle of it doing something genuinely different. You're walking into proper Sri Lankan territory here—not the Anglicised curry house stuff, but the real deal. The lamprais (that baked rice and meat number wrapped in pastry) is exceptional, kottu roti comes with actual skill behind it, and their curries hit different because they're not trying to please everyone at once. It's got that neighbourhood restaurant feel where regulars know what they want and newcomers figure it out pretty quickly.
