The Pig

You'll find The Pig tucked along White Rock, that stretch where the seafront gets a bit rough around the edges in the best possible way. It's the kind of place where locals actually drink—sticky floors, loud conversations, the works—but with enough care put into what's coming out of the kitchen to make you want to stay longer than one pint. The vibe is unpretentious and lived-in, with enough personality that you don't feel like you're in a corporate gastropub clone. It's where Hastings proper still shows up.
