King Edward Street's got a bit of life to it these days, and Ponto Lounge is doing its bit to keep things interesting. You're walking into a properly finished space—think moody lighting, decent cocktails made by people who actually know what they're doing, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to linger over a drink rather than rush through. The crowd's mixed enough that you won't feel out of place whether you're after a casual evening with mates or something slightly more polished. They do food too, small plates and sharing stuff that pairs well with what's in your glass. It's become the sort of place regulars come back to, which says something.
