Delhi Wala Food

You'll spot the queue before you see the sign – that's your first clue this tiny Bishopgate spot is doing something right. The open kitchen works at breakneck speed, churning out proper Delhi street food that tastes like it's been lifted straight from Chandni Chowk and dropped into Leeds city centre. The chana bhatura here is enormous and unapologetically messy, while their chole tastes like it's been slow-cooked for hours (it probably has). Don't expect tablecloths or lengthy wine lists – this is about fast, authentic, ridiculously good value Indian food that'll have you coming back within the week.
