You're walking through The Light on The Headrow and suddenly the smell of proper Italian pastries hits you—that's your cue to stop. Haute Dolci does desserts properly, none of that mass-produced nonsense. The gelato's legitimately creamy (they're not messing about with stabilisers), and the pastries are the kind of thing you'd find in Milan, not Headingley.
