Kitty Cafe

You walk into Kitty Cafe on Kirkgate and immediately get why people come back—there's something genuinely calming about sipping coffee whilst cats wander past your table like they own the place (spoiler: they kind of do). The setup is straightforward: decent drinks, simple food, and about a dozen rescue cats roaming freely. It's not trying to be fancy. You're there for the cats, the cats know it, and everyone's happy with that arrangement. The city centre location means it's handy after a shop on the Headrow or a mooch around the Trinity Centre.
