This branch sits smack in the middle of Leicester's main drag, making it absolutely rammed on weekends but surprisingly manageable during the week. The staff here genuinely seem to care about getting your chicken cooked properly – none of that dry breast meat nonsense you sometimes get elsewhere. The space is typical Nando's fare but they've kept it clean and the tables turn over quickly enough that you're not hanging about. Plus, they're open until 10pm on weekends, which is a godsend when everywhere else has shut up shop and you need something more substantial than a kebab. The butterfly chicken with medium sauce remains undefeated, and their chips are consistently crispy. Not revolutionary, just reliably good.
