The Otterspool Promenade

Head down to Otterspool and you'll find yourself on one of Liverpool's most underrated stretches of riverfront. The promenade curves along the water with proper views across to Wirral, and it's the kind of place where you can actually breathe. Whether you're walking, cycling, or just standing about watching the light hit the water, there's something properly restorative about it. The parks team have done well maintaining the green spaces here—it doesn't feel neglected like some of the city's outer edges can. It's especially good if you're based in the south end; locals know it beats queuing in the city centre on a decent day.
