Head down to Lark Lane and you'll find yourself in what feels like a proper Cantonese kitchen, all steamed-up windows and the clatter of bamboo baskets. You're ordering from trolleys rolling past your table, pointing at har gau and char siu bao like you know what you're doing (or just nodding at everything—no judgment). The dim sum's the main event here: fresh, properly cooked, not sitting under heat lamps for three hours. It's the kind of place where families pile in at weekends and you'll see proper Scousers mixing with students from the uni, all of them tucking into prawn and pork and vegetables. Prices won't break the bank either—you're looking at a proper feed for under £20 a head if you're sensible about it.
