Beany Green - Southbank

You're walking along Belvedere Road with the river on one side and you spot Beany Green tucked in proper. It's the kind of place where locals actually sit down rather than grab and go — wooden benches, natural light, the smell of proper espresso. The menu leans plant-based but without any preachy nonsense; think really good avocado toast, but also things that'll actually surprise you. Coffee's clearly taken seriously here, and that 4.7 rating isn't fluff. It's close enough to the South Bank's museums and galleries that you can pop in before heading to the Tate, but far enough away that it doesn't feel touristy.
