Bonjour Brioche

Walk into Bonjour Brioche on Quicks Road and you're transported somewhere proper—the kind of place where the smell of butter and fresh croissants hits you before you've even ordered. This is Wimbledon's answer to those moments when you want proper French pastries without the faff of getting to South Kensington. The brioche here is genuinely excellent, pillowy and rich without being heavy, and their croissants have the kind of shattering lamination you rarely find outside actual boulangeries. Grab a coffee (they don't mess about with it) and something from their cabinet—whether you're after a classic pain au chocolat or something more adventurous—and claim a spot by the window. It's unpretentious and genuinely good.
