You'll find yourself on Poland Street surrounded by Soho's usual mix of dive bars and late-night spots, but BrewDog's got something different going on. It's the kind of place where you can actually taste what you're drinking without pretension getting in the way—the staff know their stuff about the beers on tap, whether that's their flagship Punk IPA or whatever seasonal release they're pushing. The ground floor gets properly lively of an evening, with enough bodies moving around to feel like something's happening, but it never tips into unbearable. Food's decent enough if you're peckish (burgers, sharing boards), prices sit at a reasonable mid-range for this part of town, and they don't rush you out the door.
